“Residential Group Marathon Club” participated in Bangkok Marathon 2025, Thailand🏃‍♀️

In the name of Residential Group Marathon Club, we participated in “Bangkok Marathon 2025” in Thailand. This is the first time for us to join the overseas event. This marathon event was held in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday 16th November, 2025. The 4 Japanese employees from Residential Real Estate Co., Ltd. who conducted the nomination and got selection by　all our brunches. Moreover, our local company “RESI International (Thailand) Co., Ltd.” also joined it so there were 11 participants in total.

Under the night sky on the day of this event, the full marathon started at 12:30 a.m., following the next with half marathon started at 3:00 a.m., 10 km course started at 4:30 a.m., and 5 km course started at 5:00 a.m. About 35,000 runners participated this event and excitement and exhilaration filled the air. There are many foods and beverages around the start point, so runners could start to run in perfect condition. It was good for running in Thailand with hot weather year-round because the lowest temperature was around 22℃ on that day as well. The aid stations were set up every 2-3 km on marathon courses to give out water, watermelons and bananas. We touched their warm support from Thai people whose assist runners.

In the first half of the course, the participants ran through “Rama VIII Bridge” which is the 5th longest in the world and headed toward the course on the closed highway. The lighted bridge was so beautiful and they were overwhelmed by the unique experience of running on the highway. In the latter half, they could see Democracy Monument, Wat Suthat Thepwararam and Wat Saket Ratcha Worawihan during the run and it became a remarkable course for runners. After crossing the finish line, finisher’s medals have been given out. All our club members finished the marathon wearing smiles of satisfaction and achievement.

Through cooperation with international team members and interaction in Thailand between our company employees and Japanese employees from our parent company, we realized once again how important teamwork is and it became a meaningful experience that allowed every team member to grow in mind and body. In addition, Japanese employees visited renovated condominiums and our office as the company is here. It was a valuable stay to learn about the residential market in Thailand and business development for them.
