MOU has been signed to promote baseball in Thailand
On June 25th, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony was held at the Sports Department of Thailand between the Baseball Federation of Thailand, Residential Real Estate Co., Ltd., and Resi International (Thailand) Co., Ltd.,
as well as between the Baseball Federation of Thailand and the Saitama Musashi Heat Bears.
The purpose of this MOU is to build a mutually cooperative relationship for the development and spread of baseball in Thailand.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Yuthaya from the Sports Authority of Thailand, Mr. Aoyama from the Baseball Federation of Thailand, our parent company CEO Uchida, and all the employees of Resi International.
Mr. Yuthaya from the Sports Authority of Thailand said, “We look forward to the future development of baseball in Thailand and to have many exchanges between Thai youth baseball teams and the Saitama Musashi Heat Bears.”
In addition, a member of the Resi International team commented, “We are honored to have the opportunity to take a new step towards our future corporation.”
Currently, baseball is not a common sport in Thailand and it is still developing it, but young people who continue to take the challenge are steadily increasing.
We believe that there is an opportunity to support the dreams and challenges of these young people, and we hope to build new connections between Japan and Thailand through baseball.
As part of the support given to the team after the agreement was signed, our parent company provided partial financial support for the team’s international tournament travel expenses and support for equipment costs. The Saitama Musashi Heat Bears presented them with their official baseballs.
We will continue to propose technical exchanges between Thailand and Japan, and through continued support for the local community with the aim of popularizing and developing baseball, we aim to develop baseball in Thailand and further collaboration between Japan and Thailand.
